College Park – This vibrant area is located just minutes from downtown Orlando. It is known for its charming, tree lined streets, historic homes, and strong sense of community. It is home to a variety of small businesses and award winning restaurants, such as The Tap Room at Dubsdread, Rusteak, and K Restaurant. Additionally, there are several city parks within the area including Dartmouth Park and Albert Park. Lake Eola Heights Historic District – This beautiful area is located just northeast of downtown Orlando, very close to the city’s most popular parks – Lake Eola. The area was developed primarily between 1900 and the 1930’s, and many of the homes and buildings reflect the architectural styles popular during that time period. Mediterranean style Architecture flaunts the streets with Art Deco spread throughout. This Historic District is great for those interested in Florida history and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. While visiting Lake Eola Heights Historic District, you can enjoy easy access to all that Orlando has to offer including world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment. Additionally, you can enjoy Lake Eola with its walking paths, playground, and swan paddle boat rentals. 

Winter Garden – Winter Garden is located just 14 miles west of downtown Orlando and is full of charm and culture. It is known for its picturesque brick streets and canopy of beautiful oak trees which will give you a taste of what it is like to be a local. Winter Garden has a thriving downtown area with some of Orlando’s best restaurants, bars, shops, and even a local brewery. Visitors can experience one of the best Farmers Markets in Florida every Saturday offering live entertainment, local produce, and much more. Winter Garden is also home to several parks and the West Orange Trail which is a 22 mile long paved trail that runs through the heart of the city and provides opportunities for walking, running, and biking in the beautiful Florida sunshine. You can also enjoy Lake Apopka, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Florida, which offers fishing and boating. Winter Garden is a great place to visit on your day off from the parks!
